If you thought that Britain had some strange and brilliant acts in Britain’s Got Talent, the American version of course has even more! They have moved onto the live shows now and it’s great to see the types of acts that are on the American version when you think we had acts like Gay and Allan, Mexican Mayhem and that Britney impersonator.
Well on the latest live show it was male pole dancer, Steve Retchless that was voted straight through to the next round much to the displeasure of judge Piers Morgan. Piers had buzzed out during the performance and said “I think America got it wrong” when Retchless won the public vote. There is nothing unimpressive about the act as Retchless is clearly great at what he does and is a great gymnast. It takes some strength to do what he can do! Piers harshly told him “There’s a reason there are no male pole-dancing clubs in America”
Whatever Piers, you are clearly just jealous! (And why is he on the American show?)
Another brilliant act is Silhouettes who have mixed dance with shadow making to create an extraordinary and quirky act. It really is such a cool and brilliant act! There are so many dance acts that you don’t expect to see something original anymore, but this actually was.
The Silhouettes weren’t alone in their original dance act though as dancers united with technology to create an amazing act called Team iluminate. Possibly the coolest street dance act I have ever seen, the technology used is amazing! You have to watch the video below to see what I am talking about!
