X Factor: Guest Mentor Confirmed!

We don’t know about you, but the Judges houses episodes are one of our favourite parts of the X factor. Not only do we get to see the contestants jet off to all sorts of amazing places, but there’s also the question of who the judges will bring along to help them select their finalists!

There’s been some great choices over the years, with Cheryl and Will.i.am, Louis and Sharon Osbourne, and of course the inevitable Sinitta. It had all started to get a bit predictable though… until now!

There’s three new judges on the panel, which means three new sets of celebrity friends – and luckily for us, a certain female singing star has revealed some exciting information,

Yes, Jessie J has confirmed on twitter that she will be joining N Dubz star Tulisa as a guest mentor in the judges houses stage of the competition! There had been speculation last week that the ‘Price Tag’ singer would jet off to Greece with Tulisa, and Jessie took to twitter to confirm the news. She was asked if the rumours were true by one of her followers on the social networking site and replied: “;) yeeaahh man!”

The other judges are yet to confirm their selections, but it is thought that Robbie Williams will be bought in to help fellow Take That star Gary Barlow, while Louis Walsh will work with either Sinitta or Sharon Osbourne.

But it’s Kelly Rowland’s choice who is generating the most gossip – with many hoping she will be joined by best pal and mega star Beyonce. Beyonce has a history of appearing on the X factor – she sung with eventual winner Alexandra Burke in the final of the fifth series – so it is likely that she will agree to appear.

We can’t wait! In fact, some might say that we’re X factor obsessed…. lucky for us that Gala has so many brilliant X Factor themed games then!

Our favourite is the X factor scratchcard, where you can win up to £1k – but there’s also the amazing Bootcamp bingo which has a 2ok grand prize! We’d take that over a singing contract any day – but then again we are tone deaf.

Check out all the details on these amazing games and more here!

xx

Which Celeb LOVES bingo??

We always knew we loved Robbie Williams for a reason – he’s just revealed that he loves a game of bingo! OK, so the fact he’s gorgeous too – and let’s not forget he can hold a tune pretty well, but its nice to know he’s a fan of our favourite game! Apparently Robbie raises […]

"FULL HOUSE!" screams Robbie, as Gary squeals in excitement

We always knew we loved Robbie Williams for a reason – he’s just revealed that he loves a game of bingo! OK, so the fact he’s gorgeous too – and let’s not forget he can hold a tune pretty well, but its nice to know he’s a fan of our favourite game!

Apparently Robbie raises money for various charities by playing bingo, and has come to fall in love with the exciting game. Sources say his favourite is a good old game of 90 ball bingo – just like us Rob!

We wonder if the rest of the Take That gang are bingo fans too? Robbie posted a photo to his blog earlier this year, which showed Gary Barlow playing the role of bingo caller at a dinner party – this seems to indicate that they are! Can you imagine playing Monkey Madness or Double Ton Up with Take That? Amazing!

Robbie isn’t the only celebrity to profess a love for bingo – Barack Obama is a fan – as is Paris Hilton, who has been seen at a number of high profile charity bingo games. Russell Crowe meanwhile, was actually a bingo-caller before he became famous, and allegedly lost the job after making up his own – rude – bingo calls!

We say, get your dabbers out guys, and come and join us at Gala! No, they may not need a share of 60k, or a holiday to Egypt – but they’d be guaranteed to have a good time with you lot!

Which celebrity would you be most excited to see at your local Gala club?

Take That fever has well and truly taken over me!!!  I am headed to their concert and cannot wait and have decided to dedicate a whole blog to the wonderful boys and their music.  I’m still not convinced on Robbie’s return to the group but I bet after I see them live I will be more than happy to have him back.  Anyway, here are my top 5 Take That songs!!! (It’s difficult to just choose 5!)

1.Rule The World
First created for the soundtrack to the film Stardust and then went on to be a number one hit!  Have loved this song since the first time I heard it and to top it all off I love the film too.  Although it’s not a classic TT oldie, it’s no doubt my number one.

2.Never Forget
No matter how many times you hear this song, I don’t think you can get sick of it.  An oldie but a goody!  Amazing to see live and be in the crowd for, hope they do this one on the new tour too!

3.Back For Good
The last song with Robster, until the new album that was correct anyway.  Remember when the official announcement was made that Take That were splitting up and help lines had to be set up to help people who were distraught from the news?  This song kind of always reminds me of that.  It is a brilliant song anyway!

4.Greatest Day
The first track from ‘The Circus’, the second album they released after reforming and my did it have a lot to live up to.  It certainly didn’t disappoint that’s for sure!  They even opened their last tour with this track and for that reason it will always have great memories for me!

5.Shine
Ah little Mark Owen takes lead of this great song.  It’s a bit annoying it’s now used in a supermarket advert because it does kind of remind you of that a bit when you hear it.  But overall a really good song for Take That.  It was amazing when they performed it on ‘The Circus’ tour… what a show!!!
