There’s been speculation over who will be taking part in SCD 2011 for weeks, and the line-up has finally been revealed! Have a look below to see who will be strutting their stuff on the dance floor.
Most famous for being the ex-girlfriend of former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson, we reckon Italian Nancy will be pretty fiery on the dancefloor!
Played Janeece Bryant in BBC drama Waterloo Road, she’s young which is usually an advantage on the show – and we have a feeling she’ll be wearing some pretty revealing outfits!
Known and loved for playing Angie Watts in Eastenders for many years, Anita Dobson is the latest in a long line of Eastenders stars to take part in Strictly! Perhaps she’ll follow in the footsteps of last yea’rs winner, Kara Tointon?
We thought Holly was just doing bad adverts these days, but she’s now set to take to the Strictly stage! We know from her music videos that Holz can dance, so she should be an interesting contestant to watch in the competition!
We love music legend Lulu, so we’re overjoyed that she’s on the show. We wonder if she’ll ‘Shout’ at the judges if they give her negative comments? Ha ha!
We hate to say it, but if we were to bet on which contestant would be this years Ann Widdecombe – our money would be on former MP Edwina. She might surprise us though!
Following in the footsteps of fellow One show presenter Matt Baker, Alex is preparing to shimmy her way around the strictly dance floor. Random fact for you here – Alex used to date Steve Jones, the new X factor USA host.
Footballer Robbie strongly denied that he was taking part in the show even a few days ago – yet here he is in the line up! The former Welsh International player is known for being a bit controversial, so here’s hoping he’ll stand up to the judges!
Will impressionist Rory Bremner be a good dancer? We don’t know, but we’re praying he does an impression of Bruno!
Mcfly star Harry Judd will have teenage girls all over the country tuning in to the show – and voting – every week. Harry may be a dab hand on the drums, but we wonder if he’ll be able to master the subtle rhythm of the Waltz?
If you read this name and thought ‘who?’ then you’re not alone – we did too. However after a quick google we were able to establish that Russell is an expert in all things astrology – and a pet psychic. Right.
Daybreak’s Dan Lobb is also a retired tennis player – so he should have some nifty footwork skills. Has the potential to become the heartthrob of the show too, we know we wouldn’t mind seeing him with his shirt off!
Boxer Audley is very tall, and may be a bit ungainly on the dancefloor. We’d be far too scared to give him bad comments though – so maybe he’ll go all the way!
Everyone knows who Jason is! The star has taken part in both musicals and pantomimes before now – which we’re pretty sure must have included some dancing, so we’d expect him to fare pretty well in the competition. He’s popular too.
What do you think of the line up? Got any favourites to win yet? x
